Murexin. Holding strong.

High-quality products with added value – this is what Murexin stands for in relation to parquet and adhesive, tile laying, sealing, screed and mortar, paint and coating technology.

Founded in 1931, Murexin soon gained a good reputation, especially in the field of building protection, and later in construction chemistry. In 1987, Murexin joined Schmid Industrieholding. The integration of Durlin, a traditional manufacturer of paints and varnishes, was a logical step towards the stated corporate goal of offering an increasingly comprehensive range of products to meet different needs from a single source.

Tradition and innovation

With almost 90 years of history, the company has an enormous wealth of knowledge, which also feeds into today's work processes; 400 skilled employees and an in-house research and development centre ensure the highest level of quality. Murexin currently has three sites in Austria, Hungary and Russia. Creating an international presence is an integral part of Murexin's corporate policy. Around half of the products coming out of the modern powder product manufacturing facilities are destined for export. Modern system solutions from Murexin save time and money, while also being installer-friendly and ecologically safe. Quality, service and innovation from cellar to roof, inside and out – that is what makes up Murexin's promise. One that holds strong.

The perfect match

Murexin tile laying technology offers a comprehensive programme with components that are perfectly coordinated. The coating technology provides products for impregnating, coating and sealing floors. The sealing technology includes certified sealing systems for all load conditions. Binders for levelling fillers, quick-drying screeds, concrete admixtures, and products for protection and repair can be found in the screed and mortar technology. In the field of parquet and adhesive technology, Murexin meets the toughest demands for dealing with difficult substrates and special bonding and parquet sealing requirements. The paint and coating technology covers a broad spectrum from façade paints, wood finishing, varnishes and glazes, to high-quality mixed products.
